Metro Seeking Feedback on Fare-Free System Initiative

As we reported earlier this month, Metro has convened a task force to explore the idea of eliminating fares for all buses and trains by January, 2021.  This week, the agency began reaching out to the public, asking stakeholders to respond to a short online survey to help gauge the community’s interest, concerns and questions regarding a fare-free transportation system.

If you’d like to weigh in, the questionnaire is simple, quick and anonymous (though if you do choose to provide your contact information, you can be entered into a drawing for a $100 Visa gift card):
