If you’re looking for a quick and easy COVID-19 test in the area this week, the city’s mobile testing unit will be available for walk-up tests – both with and without appointments – at the Anderson-Munger YMCA, 4301 W. 3rd St., this Wednesday and Thursday, Sept. 23 and 24, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The tests are free, regardless of insurance status, but please bring your insurance information if you have it. If you don’t have insurance, bring your Driver’s License or another form of identification.

Also, as we’ve previously reported, there are at least two other testing options on or near Larchmont Blvd. — at the Hollywood Urgent Care facility at 5717 Melrose Ave. and at Ultimate DX, 516 N. Larchmont Blvd. Both of those facilities are privately owned and are fee-based (not free). Utimate DX also does not take insurance.
