More Rain, After a Brief Break


It’s raining hard again this morning, but we had a rather lovely break after yesterday’s storm, providing a spectacular sky just before sunset.  Even better is that we haven’t heard too much bad news so far about negative effects from the weather in our area. Mostly just the usual partially-flooded intersections, and a few traffic snarls from those and related power/traffic light outages…most notably along Wilshire, from La Brea to Burnside.  Among the best of the “not bad” news we’ve heard is that the traditional flooding doesn’t seem to have materialized along Rossmore Ave., despite the vigorous downpours.  Great news for those who live along what has long been dubbed “Lake Rossmore” on rainy days.
