Residents should avoid Rossmore Avenue this weekend, it will be closed for road repair Saturday and Sunday. According to a notice sent by Nikki Ezhari, Field Deputy for CD4 Councilmember David Ryu, the Bureau of Street Services will be “cold milling” the street, the process of removing part of the road surface to smooth it out in preparation for paving.
Vehicles will have access during the cold milling of the project. However, driving be limited within the project area to avoid possible damage to vehicles. The only time that access will be restricted within the project area is when the street is coated with liquid asphalt, before resurfacing of the street.
Avoid Rossmore if you can and drive carefully!
