Rothy’s Shoes to Open September 23rd

Rothy’s Shoes will open September 23 at 248 N. Larchmont Blvd.

Shoes are coming back to Larchmont!  At long last, Rothy’s Shoes is opening on Larchmont Boulevard  at 248 N. Larchmont. This will be the second Los Angeles location for the online shoe retailer; its other store is at 8405 Melrose Place.

Interestingly, this store front was home to Village Footwear,  a 19-year veteran of the street, which lost its lease and was followed Mr. Holmes BakeHouse, which closed in May of 2019.

We met up with Rothy’s opening team earlier today on Larchmont Blvd., and they told us they’re planning some fun events and promotions for the official opening weekend set for September 23, 24 and 25.

We will keep you posted as we learn more about the festivities.

The Rothy’s store front is still boarded up but scheduled to open September 23.

  1. Great to see an opening of a store, as there have been so many closings on Larchmont Boulevard the last year or so. Especially glad Chevaliers was saved!
Waiting for Great White to start making fish tacos, etc. when doors open.
Also, wondering when they will open that boarded-up stretch of 14 stores?
Many businesses coning and going again in such short amounts of time.
Too-high rents are certainly not conducive to sustainability.
Please NO more clothing, cosmetics, or coffee shops…there is a glut of these.
Love the vibe of the area, though, and always have since moving here.
