Survey: Help Metro Plan its Budget for 2023

Would you prefer that Metro spend more money on new equipment, transit safety, bus stop improvements…or other things?  Metro is planning its budget for the next fiscal year, and is looking for input, via a public survey, on how its public funds should be allocated and spent.

According to the announcement from Metro, “As Los Angeles continues to recover from the COVID-19 pandemic, we want to make sure our budget reflects the needs and preferences of our customers, riders, and the people of Los Angeles.”

The survey can be found at https://metro.cvent.com/surveys/Welcome.aspx?s=49688615-f06e-4b6c-ab3a-4868f7f3bd1c . It’s open to everyone (whether or not you’re a frequent transit rider), and takes about 10 minutes to complete.  And if you enter your contact information at the end of the survey, you’ll be entered to win a $50 Target gift card or a monthly TAP card.

The survey will be open until January 24, 2022.
