Thirteen Lune to Host Korean Beauty Brand OLIVIAUMMA Saturday

OLIVIAUMMA skincare products celebrate their first retail partnership at Thirteen Lune Larchmont Blvd.

Thirteen Lune will be hosting a pop-up Saturday from 1-4 pm with OLIViAUMMA, a Korean skincare product line. Founder Hye Young Kim will be there celebrating her brand’s very first retail partnership in Los Angeles.

Launched just six months ago, Kim told the Buzz, she is delighted to partner with Thirteen Lune whose mission is to celebrate female and BIPOC founders. Kim, based in Miami and Korea, was inspired to create OLIVIAUMMA by her daughter Olivia. The brand’s name translates to Olivia’s mom.

“My daughter loves skin care products,” explained Kim. “She encouraged me to create a product that would look glossy, natural, and healthy.”

Kim said she set out to create a collection of products designed entirely around the concept of clean and clear skin.

“Inspired by the Tanghulu dessert trend which was developed in China – where a glass effect is layered on fruit by way of applying melted sugar, I wanted the skin to feel and resemble that crystal clear shine,” said Kim. “From our foaming cleanser that is made from muscat grapes to our blueberry-laced serum – every item in the range is meant to make you look and feel radiant. Even our vegan liptox offerings moisturize while delivering a glistening effect without that tacky residue.”

OLIVIAUMMA is dedicated to bringing consumers the look of glass skin with vegan, clean ingredients, she explained.

“When your skin is healthy, you don’t need a lot of make up,” said Kim.

OLIVIAUMMA has products for everyone to use every day. The brand has cleansers, multivitamin serums, low-color lip glosses, and pudding cream, ideal for hydrating your skin during summer.

“I hope people will stop by and test out our products in person,” said Kim. “Our brand is very unique. It’s designed for everybody, all genders, and all ages. It’s designed to be effective for everyone. it’s fun, positive, Korean with Miami influence!”
