One question we have heard a lot in the last few days (and which we’ve asked, too) is “Where can I find the most current election results?”
For those who can’t help checking frequently, here are three sources we’ve relied on for various races and tabulations:
LA Times Live 2020 California Election Results – This page includes state-level tabulations for U.S. President, statewide ballot measures, U. S. House of Representatives in California, California State Senate Races, and California State Assembly races. The page shows vote totals and percentages, as well as the current number of precincts reporting.
Los Angeles County Registrar Recorder/County Clerk’s LA County Election Results – This page shows results from LA County for U.S. President, County-level ballot measures, LA County District Attorney, U.S House of Representatives races in LA County, California State Senate races in LA County, California State Assembly races in LA County, LA County vote totals for state-level ballot measures, Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors, LA County Superior Court justice races, and municipal races for each city in LA County (including LA City Council races). Information includes the most recently reported vote totals and percentages, but not the number of precincts reporting so far.
New York Times California Election Results – This page includes California results for U.S. President (including a map of results by county), California races for U.S. House of Representatives (also including a handy map), California state-level ballot measures, and races for California State Senate and State Assembly. Information includes total ballots cast in each race, and result percentages.
NPR Presidential Results – The most detailed results we’ve seen for the Presidential race, including an up-to-date map, vote percentages by state, and the percentage of precincts reporting so far in each state.
Please note that each of these are updated at different times, so the number and percentages of votes may differ slightly from site to site, depending on when each was last updated. Also, none are final yet – it ain’t over ’til it’s over – and the counts are still inching toward the finish line in most races.
