Congratulations to Village Heights and Flicka for winning the Larchmont Business Improvement District’s 4th annual holiday storefront decorating contest.
Village Heights won first place: $500, anĀ ad in the Larchmont Buzz and an ad in the Larchmont Chronicle. Flicka is this year’s runner up and wins a $250 prize, announce BID President Tom Kneafsey.
“We would also like to thank our judges, the presidents of some of our local neighborhood groups:Ā
Larry Guzin, Windsor Square;Ā Charlie DāAtri, Larchmont Village Neighborhood Association andĀ
Jan Kesner, Ridgewood-Wilton Neighborhood Association.”
Village Heights owner Louis Eafalla’s Parisian-themed window showcases the wide variety of gifts, home decor, personal accessories for men and women, new and vintage jewelry, plus lots of other great items sold in the store. Ā Locals also appreciate their jewelry and watch repair and appraisal services.
Flicka, celebrating 25 years on Larchmont, no doubt wowed the judges with itsr Christmas tree in a perpetual snow flurry. Sadly, the snow ceased when the overheated motor gave out, Kristen Sata told usĀ when we were there taking a photo of their wonderful, whimsical window. Darn, wished we had a photo of it! It was really wonderful. If you have one, please share it!
Congratulations to both stores, whic make shopping on Larchmont festiveĀ all year long!
