This Valentine’s Day, treat yourself to ice cream at Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams on Larchmont and help Evan Listi raise funds for Children’s Hospital LA.
Evan’s mom, Kari Listi, reached out to the Buzz to let us know about her fundraiser with the nice folks at Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams on Larchmont Blvd, who are helping support Evan’s effort to raise funds for education and research at Children’s Hospital.
Evan Listi is a 6th grader at St. James and a CHLA Junior Ambassador. Evan became a Junior Ambassador to help raise funds for Children’s Hospital.
“The reason I wanted to become a Junior Ambassador was because of my brother,” explained Evan on her CHLA website. “My brother/best friend’s name is River and he was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy at 6 months old.”
This year, the Junior Ambassadors have a goal of raising $1 million for the hospital.
“This year, Evan and River will be spreading the love on Valentine’s Day. Stop by Jeni’s on Larchmont Blvd. from 4-7pm and a portion of sales will go to CHLA when you say “CHLA LOVE” at checkout,” Kari explained to the Buzz.
