About 2 dozen cyclists took to the streets with Councilmember Tom LaBonge yesterday evening to tour the downtown area by bike. They had a lot of fun, and had a police escort to help maneuver through Thursday evening traffic.
The route took them from Main St over to the “Cornfield” park (Los Angeles State Historic Park) where they did a lap around the track, and on to  1st St Bridge, past Mariachi Plaza, down Boyle Ave, over the 6th Street Bridge (where photo was shot), through Little Tokyo and back up to Main Street. LaBonge provided ice cream treats at the end of their adventure.
