
Mountain Real Estate Capital (MREC), the current owners of the property at 5112 Melrose (between Gramercy and St. Andrews), have been awarded approval to build 49 Small Lot Detached Homes.  Upon receiving the entitlement, MREC listed the property for sale as originally planned.

According to Curbed LA, the property will be cleared of all parking lots and buildings before it is transferred to the new owner(s).
This architects and planners on this property did present in front of the Greater Wilshire Neighborhood Council (GWNC) multiple times over the past several months, making adjustments to their plans based on input from the GWNC Land Use Committee.
