A water main burst overnight Sunday and caused significant flodding at the intersection of Clinton and Windsor in Larchmont Village. According to reports, the DWP had things under control by 6:15a.
Thanks to Larchmont Village neighbor Eileen Lanza for sharing these photos with Larchmont Buzz.
UPDATE: Sunday 8:45a…DWP has turned off water to homes in the area impacted by the water main break. Reports include homes on Irving and Windsor. The actual break is in the 600 block of North Irving. DWP is on site making the repairs.
Well, not under control. The DWP shut the water off this morning. The DWP has only just arrived (at 8am) to fix the main. Everyone in the area is currently without running water.
Yes ~ the damage to the street looks pretty brutal. Hope they can get things fixed – starting with water back on ASAP.
