First Lady Michelle Obama will be attending a fundraising luncheon this week at the Hancock Park area home of Michael Lawson and Mattie McFadden-Lawson. The event will take place on Wednesday, February 1st at 11:30a.
According to the Barack Obama 2012 website, the event is being organized by Obama for America & The Women for Obama Finance Committee. A sold out crowd of 250 is expected to attend in exchange for a campaign donation of $10,000 for a photo with Mrs. Obama and $35,800 for a photo and luncheon with celebrity co-hosts Pauletta Washington (Denzel’s wife) and LaTanya Richardson Jackson (Samuel’s wife).
Expect some increased traffic in the area and plan accordingly.
