High Winds Create All Kinds of Trouble

Last nights strong Santa Ana winds were the cause of many a sleepless night.  For some it was only the wind that kept them up…for others it was dealing with fallen trees or tree limbs and the accompanying power outages.

We took a quick drive around the neighborhood and captured a few pictures of the mess. High winds are expected to continue into Friday.

As of 9am, power is out in parts of Larchmont Village…including at Starbucks where they are closed due to power outages.

  1. Given the strong winds last night and the havoc it caused in other neighborhoods who had their garbage cans out for pick up, it is STRONGLY suggested that you don’t leave your garbage cans on the street tonight. Leave them in your yard/garage with some protection if possible, or you may be seeing (and picking up) your personal garbage up and down the street tomorrow!
