The Hollywood Reporter has previewed the next fundraising visit by the Re-Elect President Obama campaign to hit our neighborhood. This time we can anticipate a visit by First Lady Michelle Obama to the home of Hancock Park area neighbors Michael and Mattie McFadden-Lawson.
Currently, the plan is for the first lady to be in the Hancock Park area for a lunch meeting on Wednesday, February 1st. Even though this event is outside the rush hour traffic crush, residents should plan accordingly. More details will be available closer to the date of the fundraiser.
The article indicates that both the president and the vice-president will be in Los Angeles over the coming weeks for additional fundraisers. If we hear of any coming our way, we’ll be sure to share.
