Architectural Digest Shares Hancock Park Home

Last weekend LACMA conducted the 56th Annual Art + Architecture Tour – where each home is chosen for the art collection and architectural design. The tour benefits LACMA’s Art Museum Council and proceeds help this group to acquire art and sponsor exhibits.

Two of the four homes on the tour were in our neighborhood – one in Windsor Square and one in Hancock Park. Unfortunately, we didn’t find out about this event until it was too late to share with our readers…but we’ve got a bit of a reprieve. It turns out that Architectural Digest happened to feature the Hancock Park home in its April Issue. Interior designer and Hancock Park resident Timothy Corrigan shared his magnificently renovated and redecorated home.  There’s also a little story of how he beat out seven other offers to re-acquire what was his childhood home. It’s a nice read and the pictures will fuel your Spring redecorating imagination…

For Mary, the neighborhood has been a wonderful home to her large, extended family...at one time she had family members living on seven different Hancock Park area blocks! Larchmont Buzz is a labor of love - built to celebrate the neighborhood and to elevate the conversation in the area.
