Happy St Paddy’s Day

It’s Saturday, it’s the 17th of March and it’s St Patrick’s Day  – plenty of good reasons to celebrate even if you’re not the least bit Gaelic, a real redhead or have a name that begins with an O’.

Some local options for drinking the brew, singing the songs and getting your Irish on:

The Farmer’s Market at 3rd and Fairfax has a line up for the leprechaun in you:

12-3 pm Glen the Strolling Bagpiper
All day – Magee’s Kitchen (stall 624) serving corned beef & cabbage
6-10 pm Jerry McLean Irish Folk on the West Patio
All day – E.B.’s Beer & Wine serving green beer.

Molly Malones LA, 575 S. Fairfax  is always packed to the gills with Irish revelers:

12:30  -Thomas Allen the bagpiper
3 pm – Dan Conroy
6:30 pm – Kofi Baker’s Cream Experience
9:30 pm – The Black Shamrocks
11 pm  – RapScalions

Busby’s East, 5364 Wilshire Blvd begins pouring top o’ the morning – at 9 am !

Sadly, Tom Bergin’s won’t quite be opened in time as noted in an earlier Buzz post: Tom Bergin’s Wee Bit of Delay
