You just can’t miss the full bloom of jacarandas around the neighborhood these days. Sure, some people dislike the residue left by the purple-blue blooms, but you can hardly deny that their brilliant color and carpet of blue ‘snow’ beneath reminds you it’s May.
Native to the dry high plains of Brazil and Argentina, many jacaranda trees have found a place here in the Larchmont area and grace our homes and streets with their color. These beauties were spotted in Harold Henry Park in Windsor Village this past weekend.
