The 3rd Annual Caroling in Hancock Park was a festive success with what looked like more than 100 in attendance. This year the group was accompanied by local musicians The Blasting Company and it felt like a scene straight out of “It’s a Wonderful Life”.
The carolers traveled throughout Windsor Square – visiting some of the most colorful of houses – and made quite a stir as all voices chimed in. Neighbors from every corner of the neighborhood were there – the evening is looked forward to as another great tradition for getting in a holiday mood.
The event culminated on Norton, where the kids were surprised with an entire yard full of SNOW!
What a great holiday tradition! Well organized and much appreciated by all.
A special thanks to neighbors Marsh Mokhtari and Eileen Lanza for sharing their photos!
About Mary
Mary has lived in the Hancock Park area for over 20 years - including homes in Larchmont Village and Windsor Square. Mary has lived in some great places in her life - but none compare to the convenience and majesty of our neighborhood. For Mary, the neighborhood has been a wonderful home to her large, extended family...at one time she had family members living on seven different Hancock Park area blocks! Larchmont Buzz is a labor of love - built to celebrate the neighborhood and to elevate the conversation in the area.
Great photos! Looks like it was a brilliant event!
