Serving Larchmont Village, Hancock Park, and the Greater Wilshire neighborhoods of Los Angeles since 2011.

Registration for Wilshire Softball Fall 2012 is Open!

Registration for Wilshire Softball Fall Ball 2012 is now open. Because Wilshire Softball partners with other leagues in the Fall, the number of teams Wilshire can assemble is limited. So, if you want to make sure your daughter can play this Fall, register her now at Players will be confirmed on a first come, first served basis.

The season starts in early September and continues through the weekend of November 17-18. Games will be played mostly on Saturdays and on fields in places like Torrance, Burbank, and Santa Monica. Teams will be forming the last week of August, with plans to field 1 or 2 teams in the following divisions: 8U, 10U, and 12U.

Fall Ball is traditionally an instructional season with a focus on player development. This will continue to be true this year, but the 12U division will also field a Select Team this fall, if enough players register. The Select Team will play mostly double headers on Saturdays in Burbank. Tryouts for the highly competitive Select Teams will be held in late August. If you have a player who is interested in trying out for the Select Team, please email the Registrar at [email protected].

If you have any questions, feel free to email Rachel Capata at [email protected] or the Registrar at [email protected].

Mary has lived in some great places in her life - but none compare to the convenience and majesty of our neighborhood. For Mary, the neighborhood has been a wonderful home to her large, extended one time she had family members living on seven different Hancock Park area blocks! Larchmont Buzz is a labor of love - built to celebrate the neighborhood and to elevate the conversation in the area.
