Alert! AS YOU LIKE IT will kick off the summer theater season this coming Saturday afternoon in Griffith Park. It’s the event that steps us into warm days and long evenings: picnics on the grass, Shakespeare on the stage, sun on our backs.
The 2012 GALA IN THE PARK benefits the Independent Shakespeare Company (ISC) and their summer of free performances. Think of it as donating in one lump your Bard entertainment for the entire season: $25 a single ticket, $50 for family of four, or $100 for a special reserved VIP seat. It’s a deal you can’t beat. Buy your tickets online and bring some bubbly to toast the season and share with your friends.
