Music legend John Lennon would have turned 71 this Sunday, Oct 9th and fans are gathering at the foot of the iconic Capitol Records Building for a potluck birthday brunch on Sunday 8:30am – 12 noon. Bring a potluck dish to share, a blanket or chair to sit on, and open ears as the KLOS FM radio show “Breakfast with the Beatles” will be broadcast live, spinning some of your favorite Beatles tunes. There’ll even be an open mic segment for those of you who want to take a turn with a Lennon tune, and a cake cutting at 12 noon. Yes, it’s Hollywood on a Sunday morning, but you can stop at the Farmer’s Market in Hollywood or Larchmont en route. It’s only a 10 minute drive, or better yet, a 25 minute bike ride!
