MUSE Artwalk this Weekend in Miracle Mile

Anchored by LACMA, the Architecture+Design Museum, and the Craft and Folk Art Museum, dozens of galleries along LA’s Miracle Mile will join the museums in offering free admission to the public this weekend from 12 – 8 pm. MUSE Artwalk will be alive with interactive art projects, live music and dance performances. There’s even a sort of  scavenger hunt for families where participants can collect stickers from the various venues they’ve visited and receive prizes including tote bags, catalogues, original prints and more.

At dusk, Artwalk continues with the After Party,  8:30 – 11 pm in LACMA’s Grand Entrance. The Joshua Light Show will set the  visual tone for the night with an world-renown liquid light show, while music will be provided by Secret Circuit, Ale and Lavenders.

Silent Disco will top off the night by providing wireless headphones to guests allowing the dance party to continue grooving out till 11 pm. We saw this popular new trend at Coachella and there’s nothing quite like it. People rocking out to the same music, heads ensconced in headphones, in a virtually silent outdoor space. It’s not to be missed.

The day-long art activities are free, admission to the After Party is $22 for LACMA members, $27 non-members. Tickets can be purchased online for easy admission.
