Sunday, November 13th is shaping up to be a busy day around The Grove! Traffic alerts will be going off all day long – so plan accordingly.
The day starts early with the Ovarian Cancer Research Fundraiser – Run For Her. This is the 5th year of this 5k Run and Friendship Walk. The event started with 700 people over near Cedars Sinai and has grown to over 5,000 participants – raising more than $4 Million for the Cedars-Sinai Women’s Cancer Program to support ovarian cancer research and awareness.
The course starts at 3rd Street and The Grove Drive, heads west to Cedars-Sinai and back to Pan Pacific Park. Street closures will begin around 5a. The run/walk starts at 9a and the event wraps up at 11a. 3rd Street will be closed just west of La Brea…so it might be a tough day for donuts at S&K or Bob’s at Farmers Market.  But now that you know…you can chalk it up to a good cause and avoid the traffic.
