It’s TOY Time! Can you help collect 750 toys for those in need of some holiday spirit?
St. Brendan School and Church initiated their annual Toy Drive this past weekend and are looking for new toys for children and $20 Target gift cards for teenagers to share with the less fortunate via Blessed Sacrament Church and the Alexandria House.
Toys can be dropped off at St. Brendan Church (320 S Van Ness Ave, at 3rd St) or at the school (238 S Manhattan Place.) Joane Pickett of Pickett Fences ( 214 N. Larchmont Bl) will also collect donations at her store.
The Toy Drive also could use help wrapping toys, handing out the gifts, and monetary donations to cover food costs for the two parties where the gifts will be given to the children. If you’d like to do help out, contact Stacy Herman at [email protected]
