About the Event
Charles Bronson stars in this modern-day Western as a U.S. Border Patrol Agent who goes undercover on the San Diego-Tijuana border to catch the head of a human trafficking ring responsible for the murder of his partner. The first major feature to focus on the role of smugglers in illegal immigration, it was praised as a non-partisan depiction of the issue and is still relevant 45 years later.

Screening followed by a conversation with director and co-writer Jerrold Freedman
