Center Theatre Group Offering Free Tickets to Patrons 25 and Under

“Sweat” and “School Girls” are two shows eligible for complimentary tickets under Center Theatre Group’s new Free Play program for people under 25.

If you are age 25 or younger, and love theater, we’ve got a hot tip for you. The Center Theatre Group recently announced a new program to encourage young people to attend its plays and musicals. FreePlay offers free tickets to the first preview of all shows at the Mark Taper Forum and Kirk Douglas Theatre to anyone 25 or younger. Reservations can be made in-person at the box office, at CTGLA.org/FreePlay or by calling (213) 628-2772.

There is a $5 per ticket handling fee for reservations made online or by phone.

Reservations open about two weeks before every first preview of each production and are already available for Sweat at the Mark Taper Forum (first preview on August 29) and School Girls at the Kirk Douglas Theatre (first preview on September 2).

Tickets must be picked up at the box office no less than 30 minutes prior to curtain on the day of the performance. Everyone using a FreePlay ticket must show ID indicating they are 25 or younger.
