As it did after the June primary election, the Los Angeles Times has created a map showing how each neighborhood in the city voted in the race for Los Angeles Mayor.
The static image above outlines the Greater Wilshire Neighborhood Council boundaries on the map. Purple areas represent the precincts won (as of November 15) by Karen Bass (the darker the color, the stronger the preference and the wider the margin of victory), who currently leads in the still-being-updated vote totals. And the green areas represent the precincts won by Rick Caruso, who took an early lead on election night, but who has been falling further behind as more mail-in ballots have been tallied over the last week. And since the vote totals are not yet finalized, neither is the map, which the Times will update as more numbers roll in.
Also, for those who are interested, here’s another static image showing how the precincts in the Mid City West Neighborhood Council area, to our west, voted.
