Stacy Herman and Nancy Muller are co-chairing the Annual St. Brendan Parish Toy Drive – a highlight of the holiday season! And this year, they are changing things up a little by involving some new organizations who do great work in and around our community.
This December the focus is on Alexandria House, Saint Anne’s Social Service Agency and The Adopt a Family Program. Toy Drive organizers will gather gifts for boys and girls and recruit a charitable group of volunteers to help wrap the gifts and to help deliver to each group. Thanks to the St. Brendan Parish Toy Drive, families who are struggling to get on their feet are assured of a gifts for their kids during the holidays.A
The St. Brendan Toy Drive needs donations of new, unwrapped toys and $20 Target gift cards. All donations can be dropped off at Saint Brendan’s Church or the school.
Stacy Herman, St. Brendan School’s Kindergarten teacher and Windsor Square resident and Nancy Muller, St. Brendan Parishoner and Larchmont Village resident are also looking for volunteers to help out at the parties at Saint Anne’s and Alexandria House on December 15th. If you are interested in getting involved, please contact Stacy Herman at [email protected].
Mary has lived in the Hancock Park area for over 20 years - including homes in Larchmont Village and Windsor Square. Mary has lived in some great places in her life - but none compare to the convenience and majesty of our neighborhood. For Mary, the neighborhood has been a wonderful home to her large, extended family...at one time she had family members living on seven different Hancock Park area blocks! Larchmont Buzz is a labor of love - built to celebrate the neighborhood and to elevate the conversation in the area.
