There was some film subterfuge underway the past two days on Larchmont Boulevard: a couple of cameras concealed in strollers were spotted by Buzz reader and photographer Keith Johnson. Dressed to look like your average Larchmont dads under wraps of sunglasses and hats, the film crew also camoflauged their cameras, at times just pointing their wrapped babes right into the traffic.
Keith shot these photos around 5 pm on Thursday, after walking past the sign posted on a tree:

For those unsuspecting pedestrians, or those (like me) who don’t bother to read signs on trees, let’s just hope the hidden cameras didn’t catch us running that red light or tripping on the sidewalk. Perhaps some day we’ll learn where, in perpetuity and in all media throughout the universe, we’ll find ourselves on the silver screen.
Kinda strange filming us without our -really- knowing it. The sign posted is a block away. Curious how many would use the cross-walk there if they clearly knew they were being filmed. Perhaps the Candid Camera show lives again.
Wonder if this is legal. Thanks for sharing.
Our Facebook followers identified them as working for the Betty White show – NBC’s Off Their Rockers. I guess this is how they do it to capture real surprise. I’m sure that they have to get much deeper permissions if they capture something that they think they’ll use?
