
The June primary election results have been certified, Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk Dean C. Logan announced on Friday. Â According to Logan, a total of 1,620,593 ballots were processed and counted with 28.48% of eligible voters casting ballots in Los Angeles County.
Below are screenshots from LAvote.gov of the results in key local races, with CD5 and CD13 remaining essentially the same as we last reported. Katy Young Yaroslavsky continued to increase her lead over Sam Yebri in CD5, finishing with just over 11,000 more votes than Yerbi.
The CD13 race is tighter between challenger Hugo Soto-Martinez and incumbent City Councilmember Mitch O’Farrell. Soto-Martinez leads O’Farrell by 4,244 votes.


Also, after weeks of watching votes trickling in, City Attorney candidate Hydee Feldstein Soto has finally secured her spot in the general election by a margin of just 136 votes. She will face attorney Faisal Gill in the fall.

And finally, in the mayoral race, Congresswoman Karen Bass continued pulling ahead of developer Rick Caruso. Bass ended the primary race leading Caruso by more than 46,000 votes.
