Eater LA recently reported that Venice’s popular all-day restaurant, Great White, is coming to Larchmont this summer. Great White is taking the former Prado/Cafe Parisien space at 244 N. Larchmont Blvd., where construction barricades have been in place for months.
According to Eater, Larchmont has been on the minds of owners Sam Cooper and Sam Trude since they opened Great White back in 2017.
“We are a locally-focused business and our aim is to service the neighborhood directly, and see familiar faces. We also love the elements that create a strong sense of community there – the walkability, the schools, the street fair, etc. We really are excited to be opening in Larchmont, and to become a part of that community,” owner Sam Trude told the Buzz.
Much of Great White’s current Venice menu will remain in place, according to Eater, including breakfast pickups, casual lunch, and laid-back dinner with wood-fired pizzas — though some architectural items inside the restaurant, and a few dishes on the Larchmont menu, will be unique. More details on the design and completion date will be shared soon, according to Great White’s spokeswoman.Â
