We heard buzzing that Village Pizzeria has renewed its lease at 131 N. Larchmont Blvd.  After concerns this summer about skyrocketing rents pushing out long time Larchmont favorites, and many comings and goings, it’s good news that the beloved New York Style pizzeria isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.
When we spoke with owner Steve Cohen earlier in the summer, he was in the midst of negotiations with the corporation that owns his building.
Now we hear that everything has been worked out to the satisfaction of both parties.  Though our source said there may be some small increases in items on the menu to cover rising costs, it looks like Village Pizzeria is here to stay, at least until Cohen decides to retire — if he ever does!
