This year marks the 29th annual AIDS Walk Los Angeles, the world’s original AIDS Walk. The event will raise vital funds for AIDS Project Los Angeles (APLA) and more than 20 other Los Angeles County AIDS service organizations.
The walk takes place on Sunday, October 13th and is a traditional 10k (6.2-mile) route that begins and ends in West Hollywood Park (Melrose and San Vicente).
- Walker Sign-In: 8:30 a.m.
- Opening Ceremony: 9:15 a.m.
- AIDS Walk Los Angeles Begins: 10 a.m.

- Poinsettia Place at Melrose Ave Northbound and Southbound
- Clinton St at La Brea Ave Eastbound and Westbound
- Oakwood Ave at La Brea Ave Eastbound and Westbound
- Poinsettia Place at Beverly Blvd Northbound and Southbound
- Fairfax Ave at Beverly Blvd Northbound and Southbound
- Sweetzer Ave at Beverly Blvd Northbound and Southbound
- Crescent Heights Blvd at Beverly Blvd Northbound and Southbound
- La Cienega Blvd at Beverly Blvd Southbound Only
According to the AIDS Walk organizers, La Brea Avenue and Beverly Boulevard are expected to re-open to all traffic by 3 p.m. Sunday.
