Paris Photo is back in Hancock Park for a second year with the opening today of the 2nd annual Paris Photo-Los Angeles on the Paramount Studios Lot.
The show was created in 1996 for the Grand Palais in Paris to showcase historical and contemporary photography,  and this year brings over 80 of the world’s leading art galleries and art book dealers to the Paramount Pictures Studios with over 30 solo shows. The Paris Photo LA experience allows art followers to discover works by artists within the ambiance of the historical soundstages and the movie sets of the backlot at Paramount.
The show runs three days, Friday, April 25 – Sunday April 27th during the afternoon and early evening. Tickets range in price from $20-40 depending on time and events which can include screenings, artists talks and receptions.
A special exhibit this year is “Unedited: The LAPD Photo Archives” which includes many film-noir-like, real-life photos never before seen of LAPD investigated crime scenes from the 1920’s and on. Read more at Fototeka-LAPD Archives.
