Here’s some more data that reflects on the popularity of our neighborhood within the greater LA marketplace.
CurbedLA.com notes that Trulia.com, a prominent real estate web site, has listed the LA neighborhoods with the most search views on their website. Out of 107 ranked neighborhoods, Greater Wilshire/Hancock Park comes in at a respectable #12.
Surprisingly, the “Mid-City” area comes in at #5 on the most-searched list. Mid-City, as defined by Trulia.com, is Pico south to the 10 Freeway, from Crenshaw to La Cienega/Robertson that has Venice Blvd at its center.
Here’s a look at rankings of area neighborhoods:
- #1 Hollywood Hills
- #5 Mid-City
- #8 Hollywood
- #12 Greater Wilshire/Hancock Park
- #15 Los Feliz
- #17 Downtown
- #19 Wilshire Center/Koreatown
For some, this might not mean too much. For others, with holiday parties to attend in Pacific Palisades (#22), Echo Park (#29) and West Hollywood (#107)…well this could end up being fodder for some good cocktail talk/bragging rights.
