Local Saint Patrick’s Day Festivities — Celebrate the Green!

In a quick survey of St. Patrick’s Day festivities around the neighborhood the Buzz found the following events. Tell us if we left anything out and feel free to share photos of your celebrations!

  • Larchmont Village Wine, Spirits & Cheese  is serving corned beef sandwiches today.
  • Fancifull  is offering hand crafted beer baskets,  a great alternative to the usual wine baskets, and a perfect St. Patrick’s Day gift.
  • At the Original Farmer’s Market, check out the corned beef plate special with cabbage and potatoes, all day at Magee’s Kitchen. Glen the Bagpiper will be strolling the market from 12:30pm – 3:30pm. Stuart Marks & The Paddy O’Dors Irish Band will be playing from 6-9 p.m. on the West Patio. Green and imported Irish beers will be available at 326 and E.B.’s Beer & Wine.
  • Tom Bergin’s will he holding its 80th St. Patrick’s Day celebration!  They’re serving Irish Breakfast starting at 6 a.m., followed by a full outdoor festival from 11 a.m.-midnight. Featuring food and drink specials, happy hour pricing from 5-7 p.m., a Playmate of the Year…and more! As always, NO COVER! “Just Uber in and enjoy!”
  • Also Molly Malone’s will have a bagpiper, Beatles tribute band and Irish rock band.  From 12 noon-2 p.m. George Hall, the bagpiper, will perform;  2:30-5 p.m. hear King Chris; then Britain’s Finest Beatles tribute from 5:30-7:30, from 8-10, The Friday Night band; and from 10:30-1 a.m. hear Irish rockers The McNaustys.
