Sighted Sunday on Larchmont Blvd.: Congressman Adam Schiff signing copies of his new book, “Midnight in Washington – How We Almost Lost Our Democracy And Still Could,” at Chevalier’s Books.

We were among those in line to meet Schiff and get his autograph on this latest book on the lead-up to the January 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol. We saw lots of other neighbors in the line.
After signing, Schiff headed down to Tailwaggers to check out the Sunday Pet Adoption it hosts with LA Animal Rescue every Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Tailwaggers owner Todd Warner shared this photo with us, writing, “🐾❤️🐾❤️🐾 US Congressman Adam Schiff and his wife Eve were kind enough to stop in TAILWAGGERS Larchmont location to help with our weekly ADOPTION EVENT! 🐾❤️🐾 They are very involved in animal welfare, and we really appreciate their support! 🐾❤️🐾❤️🐾”

Lastly, when we stopped by the Wilshire Rotary’s Pumpkin Patch we found lots of residents shopping for pumpkins. Organizers Wendy Clifford and Diane Aldahl were directing kids to pumpkin buckets filled with prizes for those who completed their challenging scavenger hunt through the patch. They were happy to provide hints to anyone who was stumped. There were also students from Larchmont Charter School doing hand painting and selling decorated pumpkins. They are planning some special events, like trick-or-treating for those in costumes next weekend. Stay tuned for more updates on the Buzz.
