Thanksgiving Wine Tips at Domaine LA

Domaine LA - Wine Bottles Stacked
The team at Domaine LA unloaded over 50 cases of wine in anticipation of Thanksgiving demand!

Hancock Park is lucky to have access to a few great wine shops – chief among them is Domaine LA on the corner of Melrose and Mansfield.

Domaine LA has a special wine event today, Sunday November 18th – a celebration of the arrivals of the Beaujolais Nouveau wines that were released on Thursday. The Beaujolais Nouveau are the first French wines of the vintage and are always released on the third Thursday in November – just in time for Thanksgiving.

 Domaine - LA Whitney 2

Whitney at Domaine LA shares some of her favorite wines for your Thanksgiving celebration in this quick video, including one of her favorite Beaujolais Nouveau.

Head over to Domaine LA today for their regular Sunday tasting – this one called ‘Le Beaujolais Nouveau est Arrive!’  It takes place from 2p-5p and is $15 for wine and food. Learn more at

And if you can’t get there today, no worries – Jill and Whitney at Domaine LA have extended hours this week, including Thursday from 10:30a-3p.

Mary has lived in some great places in her life - but none compare to the convenience and majesty of our neighborhood. For Mary, the neighborhood has been a wonderful home to her large, extended one time she had family members living on seven different Hancock Park area blocks!
