Landis Labyrinth Toy Shop has consolidated from three to two storefronts at 144 and 140 N. Larchmont Blvd. Sunday was the business’ last day at 142 N. Larchmont, where virtually everything was sold. The inventory of remaining toys was moved into the toy shop at 140 N. Larchmont, which caters to older kids. Two doors down, at 144, you can find toys for younger children, babies and infants.
“We still have everything we used to have,” staff at Landis Labyrinth told the Buzz, “It’s just now in two stores instead of three.”
We also heard that Bite Beauty will now be coming into the former toy shop space at 142 N. Larchmont, though efforts to confirm that directly with that company were not successful at the time of this post.
Bite Beauty is a Canadian cosmetics company specializing in personalized lip products. The brand was founded by Susanne Langmuir in 2011, launched in 2012 and acquired by Kendo in 2014. According to the company’s website, all their products are made with food-grade ingredients. They have several stores, called “Lip Labs,” where customers can create their own lipsticks. As of August 2017, there were three lip labs in operation: one New York (the flagship store), one in Toronto, and one in San Francisco. Their products are also available online, and in Sephora stores.
