District La Brea, the adaptive re-use development project on La Brea Avenue between 1st and 2nd Streets featuring 11 buildings transformed to host a mix of retail, dining and creative offices is home to the newest location of SugarFISH by Sushi Nozawa. The popular and growing chain – with locations in Beverly Hills, Brentwood, Calabasas, Downtown LA, Marina Del Rey, Santa Monica and Studio City – opened Friday, January 10th.
The top quality “Trust Me” Sushi will occupy 1,450 foot of space at District La Brea and accommodate 45 seats with hours of operation to run Monday to Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. and on Sunday from noon to 9 p.m.
“We are thrilled to have such an established restaurant brand by Kazunori Nozawa, as part of our effort to bring distinctive, locally oriented and exciting brands to further develop La Brea as a destination for unique shopping, dining and creative office,” said Brandt Leitze, Project Manager for the project with Madison Marquette, which owns and manages the property.
The opening of SugarFISH marks a major milestone for the District La Brea project as it now over 70% leased. This stretch of La Brea has quickly become a fun destination for neighborhood walkers/bikers. And the convenient parking garage can accommodate the rest of us – enter via the alley on 2nd Street (just west of La Brea).
