Ebell members gathered in the club’s cozy, wood paneled library yesterday afternoon for a “Clubhouse Confab.” The informal gathering drew dozens of of the club’s 400 or so members to reconnect and chat about national and neighborhood goings on.
The “confab” concept was the brainchild of membership VP Linda Dean, Kristan Giordano and Yeni Alvarez DeCarlo and Ebell Membership Director Meredyth Deighton, who drafted the charming Brogdon sisters, Carole and Daphne, to host.  The turnout exceeded everyone’s expectations.

Built in 1927, the Ebell clubhouse is an historic architectural treasure of our neighborhood. The Ebell club was founded in 1894, when women’s social clubs were forming around the country to offer women social, educational and cultural opportunities.
