The City installed two additional stop signs at the intersection of First and Windsor this morning just east of the Larchmont Village shopping district in Windsor Square.
The stop signs have been installed on First Street, slowing traffic on the east-west First St. axial, making the intersection a four-way stop now. The signs were installed thanks to the work of Councilman Tom LaBonge and his office who lobbied the Department of Transportation to make the intersection safer.
Thanks to Buzz reader Rod Dean for capturing the early morning work on his camera.

Great news! Motorist treat Windsor Blvd like a freeway.
This was actually a neighbor/resident request submitted to the City for assessment and consideration, not a Tom LaBonge initiated effort.
