To increase community awareness of Fire Department services, the Los Angeles Fire Department designates the second Saturday of each May as Fire Service Recognition Day. Today, all 106 Fire Stations are open from 10am-4pm. This year, they celebrate –Â “Providing Exceptional Customer Service – Anytime, Anyplace”
During their 2013 open houses, LAFD proudly highlights the commitment of Los Angeles Firefighters in assuring the satisfaction of those they are sworn to serve.
Along with personal tours of YOUR Neighborhood Fire Station, 7 of the 106 LAFD Fire Stations will be hosting special “Hands-Only CPR” demonstrations. Â The closest enhanced Fire Station experience for our area is at Hollywood Fire Station #27 and LAFD Museum. Just to motivate you, there’s a pancake breakfast too!
