New Year’s Closet Clean-Out? Donate to Big Sunday’s MLK Day Clothing Drive!

As we’ve noted before, the beginning of the New Year is a great time to get organized.  But what to do with everything you’re clearing out of your closets and drawers?  One great option is the Big Sunday organization’s 4th Annual MLK Day Clothing Drive and Community Breakfast, which will be held this coming Monday, January 18, from 9 a.m. to noon, at the Big Sunday Headquarters, 6111 Melrose.

According to Big Sunday’s founder, David Levinson, “We have tons of requests for clothes, and lots of people to sort them. But we could, um, use some more stuff. Any clothing, new or gently-used. Sheets and towels, too.”  So if you’ve been doing your New Year’s closet purge, and are wondering where it should all go, please bring your outgoing items over to Big Sunday any day this week, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.  They will be much appreciated.

For more details, and an RSVP form if you’d like to attend the event on Monday, see the link above.
