Over the last year, the Buzz has reported on efforts to put several housing measures on the ballot for voters to approve.  In a recent article, The LA Weekly looks at the Build Better LA measure the City Council voted yesterday to 13-1 to place on the fall ballot.

The LA Weekly reported that only CD 4 Councilmember David Ryu vote against putting in the fall ballot,  citing “vote fatigue” with too many issues including the presidential race. According to the Weekly, “Ryu believes Build Better LA would be better suited to the March 2017 ballot which, interestingly, will likely feature its nemesis, the anti-development Neighborhood Integrity Initiative.”

The Weekly also looks at what might happen if Build Better LA passes before voters get a chance to vote on the Neighborhood Integrity Initiative. Click here to read the entire story.
