Sweet Rose Creamery is opening their third store at 7565 Beverly Boulevard (between Fairfax and La Brea) on Wednesday, January 22. The Beverly Boulevard store will be their biggest to date, with indoor and outdoor seating where customers can enjoy the savory hand crafted classic and seasonal flavors of ice cream, shakes, and sundaes. The store will also have a full service espresso and coffee bar and pastries.
If you have been to Sweet Rose at either their original Brentwood location or their new-ish Santa Monica location, you know it’s a place that attracts long lines. But the ice cream is worth the wait – with flavors you won’t find anywhere else. In addition to classic flavors like vanilla, chocolate, coffee and mint chip, co-owner Shiho Yoshikawa shops weekly for seasonal flavors to make batches of ice cream and sorbets. Â Check out the January flavors:
- Ginger
- Banana
- Yam Swirl with Salty Sesame Brittle
- Cognac Prunes with Toasted Walnuts
- Malted Chocolate with Hazelnut Praline
- Licorice
- Quince
- Caramel Pear
- Sapote-Coconut Sherbet
- Pomegranate Yogurt
- Toasted Almond (dairy free)
- Mango Sorbet (dairy free)
- Kiwi Sorbet (dairy free)
Plus, the Seasonal Ice Cream Sandwich is Cinnamon ice cream with Vanilla wafer cookie and the Seasonal Bon Bon is Licorice ice cream dipped in Guittard chocolate. Oh my!
