Firefighters from LAFD Station #29 and beyond responded to a structure fire at 111 South Manhattan Place in St. Andrews Square on Friday night around 8:20pm. LAPD reports that that it took 46 firefighters 11 minutes to knock the fire down.

The fire was confined to the basement, with smoke consuming the 2 story building. There were no injuries.

The building is just south of 1st Street on Manhattan and firetrucks filled the street between 1st and 2nd. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
