It seems like change is the operative word these days on Larchmont Boulevard. This week two new businesses have opened and at the end of the month, a favorite will be closing.
On the positive side, one of the long time empty spaces – the space that was formerly home to Blockbuster Video – has come to life. Flywheel Sports, is open and holding classes. Flywheel is a stadium style spinning workout, with classes lasting from 45-60 minutes. According to their website, the first class is free. Just up the street, in the storefront that was home to La Bottega Marino’s, you’ll find a group who will compete for friendliest business on the street – the Anaya family and their highly anticipated Pinches Tacos Larchmont location. Now for the bad news…Chocoholics will be shuttering before May 1st. The beautiful, Belgian Chocolatier has been a welcome location for a quick gift, a scoop of ice cream or a delicious cup of coffee.
